MINIATURE WAR GAMING CONFERENCE

Fight epic battles on a small scale Friday and Saturday in the Visitor Center when Fort Meigs hosts the Historical Miniatures Gaming Society, Great Lakes Chapter war gaming conference. Many time periods will be represented from Roman wars to WWII. Warfare on the land, sea, and air will be re-created on tabletop battlefields.

Admission to participate includes admission to Fort Meigs Historic Site. Regular site admission applies for those who wish to watch but not participate.

Strap on your helmet, grab your reins and whip, and trot out to the starting line. Get yourself ready to race in the Circus Maximus with 15 other charioteers, to try and win your laurels. You will be racing in a 10-foot long Circus with plenty of spectators in the stands. So grab your jug of wine and some Wolf Nipple chips, and get ready to roll.

Table 5  – The Alamo (Game 1)
March 6 1836 after 13 days of siege the Mexican army under Santa Anna has had it with these Texan rebels and launches his last attack on the Alamo, He raises the Red flag of no prisoners, At 530 the Mexican army advances to put an end to this rebellion.

Description: Operation Morthror is underway, with the United Nations helping the newly-independent nation of The Congo to stamp out the secession of the province of Katanga. The Katangans have hired mercenaries to augment their forces and are ready to resist the UN & Congolese aggression, and secure their own independence.
Rules: Wars of Insurgency Period: Modern Scale: 20mm  Players: 6

Be part of the Rebel Alliance and thwart the efforts of the Empire. Or have no side but your own and play one of the rogue elements of bounty hunters, mercenaries, or galactic Scum.
