Digging into the Past

August 3, 2024 | 10am-2pm

Ages 8-18 | $15 Per Student

Explore the links between history and archeology! Students will participate in mock excavations, hands on activity stations, themed presentations, and more! The staff at Fort Meigs has teamed up with professional archeologists from the University of Michigan to design this one-of-a-kind archeology program. To register please call 419-874-4121.

American Revolution 

August 24-25, 2024 | 9:30am – 5:00pm

Join us this August 24-25 for our 60 years war for Ohio: American Revolution event! Explore an important chapter in the long fight for the Ohio Country. Immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of the Revolution in this exciting living history event featuring;

Military & battle demonstrations, an interactive ambush, hands on activities for kids, live music – fife and drum concerts, colonial Farming, a historic tavern, army bread & baking, coffee in the colonies, textile production and the 18th century duel.

Every second Sunday of the month we host historical miniature tabletop games in the classrooms! The featured games change each month. There are a variety of easy to learn games for all ages.
